Dave's Last Day at PG A

Today is Dave's last day at school and he's having mild fever early in the morning. He still has to go to school as it's the exam week. He's been doing the exams for the whole week and the report is given on next Wednesday. The so called "exam", which I don't have to worry yet until he's in his primary 1. Based on his teacher's reports on each day of the tests, it seems like Dave is doing quite well in most of the fields except arts like folding or pasting.

So far, his activities at home are things related with numbers. He's very into numbers since he was a lot younger and now in his 2 years and 8 months he is able to read from 1 to 110 perfectly and do spelling of the words. Absolutely this won't be a surprised as everyone will know how to spell if they know alphabets. Other achievements from him are the ability to write 1 to 10 by himself except 5 and 8 and count properly.

Numbers written by Dave

I understand that those achievements are nothing at this age as the succeed in the later age is not determine from now.

However, he is still reluctant to mix around and he always complains that he does not want to do gym in the morning. During the gym in the morning, he just stands there. However his teacher said that when he's alone, he's able to do all the movements. He just simply does not like crowd. Again, this worries me a lot.

I would think that Dave is totally a left-brain person. This won't be good in the long run as I believe that the mixture of the left-brain and right-brain are always better than the dominance in only one part of the brain. Thus, I would love to introduce Dave to some instruments in his early age. Hopefully this will work out...

At this age, Dave always asks questions like why Mommy has to go to school and teach? Why don't mommy just stay at home and play computers? and things like that... ^^
Pretty much... lots of "why" questions.

Hi, wow.., congrats on the achievement, Dave. :D

I think Dave really needs to mingle more with other children so that he do not feel uncomfortable or shy with others. :D
