I were quite shocked when I picked Dave up from school last Saturday. His hands and feet were very cold, so I thought it's the air-con. Then I felt his forehead, and oh gosh... fever... The last time he had the fever were in March, so it's about 7 months ago. I hate it when he's not feeling well...
Then I gave him paracetamol and the fever is not that high anymore. However, his appetite was gone. He normally eats a lot during his lunch and can finish the whole bottles of milk (200 ml) 2 times before bed time. That night, he only drank for about 100 ml and didn't want to drink anymore. Well, I thought the fever and lost appetite were from the molar teeth growing...
On Sunday, I suddenly checked on bottom lips and it's full of ulcers. I remember a friend's once told me that it's the symptom. Then I checked the buttocks, but no ulcers there. So, I thought it's the heat from inside. He's still reluctant to drink. Later on, in the afternoon, after all the attempts to make him drinks, he's still not able to. We decided to go to the doctor. The doctor said that he's having hand - foot- and mouth disease. Poor baby...
There are symptoms of the disease that you can find further from the following website. Dave might have shown the symptoms earlier, but we just didn't notice. In Indonesia, it's called as Singaporean Influenza. The doctor said that it's in trend. In a day, there were at least 5 patients with these kinds of symptoms.

Or you can just simply go to uncle Google and search for it.
Hm... another unpleasant earlier birthday gift for Dave....
Well, we are not sure where did Dave get this from. It might from the school or the wedding party on Friday that we attended. If it's from the school, again do you think early education is suggested?

It's mostly from school or kindergarten, where kids meet. It's very painful usually. Seems like HFM diseases are just unavoidable. :(
Yeah... I realized that many kids did actually suffer from HFM...
I just feel bad for him... :(
Want to eat but cannot eat...
Want to drink but cannot drink...
Even scared to swallow his own saliva...
