Appreciate each other...???

It seems like people tend not to appreciate the closest people in their life. Especially those people that appear in their daily life. I kinda find out that sometimes it is much better not to live with your beloved people. The further you are the closer you are. For example, parent with many kids. Some of the kids don't live with them, and some of them do. This parent for sure will think more of those kids who are away. Meanwhile, kids who stay with them will just looks like useful, get the anger from the parent and more to come. Further, if the kids who stay with them decided to move one day, then people will say bad words to the kids. Such as, no longer want the old man, just imagine if they get old one day, what will happen to them, all the curse are coming in. The question is why? What cause this to happen? Human nature? Is there any solution for this? Poor those people...

Never judge a book by its cover...

People seem to judge other people from their appearances. Oh... look at those happy couples... They must have a wonderful life with those beautiful kids, good career, etc. However, are they really happy couples? Actually, we never know if they are happy or they are not happy.
I think people tend to live for pride. I guess some of them willing to cover their sadness (cheated husband/wife, bad sex life, etc.) by pretending to happy. If this is the case, then what is the purpose of life....?

Travelling...

What is the best thing that you enjoy the most in the world...??? For me, I would choose travel. I find out that it's very interesting and exciting if we can travel all around the world. See different things, different cultures, different people, and enjoy different foods.
My cousin is going to Melb in early feb. He is doing 2+1 for his Bachelor degree. I never experienced Oz before. Wish could experience OZ by end of the year.

Compatibility in Chinese Zodiac...

There are 12 Chinese zodiac, starts with rat and ends with pig. The order are like this:
1. Rat
2. Cow
3. Tiger
4. Rabbit
5. Dragon
6. Snake
7. Horse
8. Goat
9. Monkey
10. Rooster
11. Dog
12. Pig

According to the Chinese beliefs, Cow, Snake, and Rooster are the most compatible. Meanwhile Snake and Pig are not compatible at all. So, how do we find out what zodiac is compatible with what zodiac. Normally, you are going to skip the next 3 or 7 to find the compatible zodiac and skip the next 5 to find the not compatible zodiac.
For example: if your zodiac is monkey, then what is the most compatible zodiac for you. Then you skip 3 zodiac after monkey, which will be Rooster, Dog, Pig. Then the next one is Rat. So, Monkey is compatible with Rat and Dragon. It is not compatible with Tiger.
However, this is just common belief. To find out details, we need to know the person DOB, time, etc.

Me, myself, I don't believe in this compatible things now. I used to. I kind figure out that it's not about the compatible that you have from the zodiac, but it's tend to the characteristics of the particular person.

Do we live for ourselves or for people...???

I wonder if people live for themselves or for other people? Which one will you choose if you gotta decide one? So far, I always feel that I live this life for people. I scared to make decisions as if the decisions are made, then other people will suffer from them. Well, maybe suffer is not the right word, but definitely I would get all the blame. Especially, when things turn out bad. If this is the case, then am I going to continue live life this way...??

Fate, Luck, or Timing...???

A successful young business entrepreneurship or a successful young employees. Are they just being lucky? Or it's because of their ability, so that they deserve what they have now? But then, what makes them have the abilities? Or they are just in a right timing?
So many people with different living standards, what makes them different? Are the differences for the goodness or badness?

Decision from a failure situation...

Failure will lead people to make a decision that was not optimal for them!
What I am trying to say is, after a few times failure, people tend to make decision not base on what their wants anymore. However, it's based on the result that is scared to fail again. Normally, they will degrade their expectations. Then without their realization, the decision was actually not the thing that they want. Since, it's too late too change. They will just move on with the things.
Though, some failure will sometimes help those people who never fail to decrease their level of arrogance. Things are not as what they have planned. Sometimes, it won't work also.

Bloomberg surveys suggest to buy golds

At least 16 of 25 retailers, investors, and analysis that Bloomberg surveyed from Mumbai to New York on the 3 and 4 January 2008, gave recommendation to buy gold.

The price of the gold increased 2.7% last week to US$865,70 per ounce in New York. Six respondents said to sell and 3 others neutral.

Spot Gold and crude oil price in the market reached the peak last week when the exchange price of US dollar touched the lowest in a week compare to Euro.

The gold periodical price increased within this 3 weeks.

Meanwhile, the metal price increased 31% in year 2007, when US dollar decreased 9,5% compare to Euro.

Major analysis that surveyed on last 27 and 28 December had anticipated the increment of gold price last week. The survey that Bloomberg held on the projections of the price, the accuracy is 119 times from 192 weeks or reached 62%.

Wealth , Success , Love

A woman came out of her house and saw 3
old men with long white beards sitting
in her front yard. She did not recognize
them. She said 'I don't think I know
you, but you must be hungry. Please come
in and have something to eat.'

'Is the man of the house home?', they asked.

'No', she replied. 'He's out.'

'Then we cannot come in', they replied.
In the evening when her husband came
home, she told him what had happened.
'Go tell them I am home and invite them in!'
The woman went out and invited the men in'

'We do not go into a House together,'
they replied.

'Why is tha t?' she asked.

One of the old men explained: 'His name
is Wealth,' he said pointing to one of
his friends, and said pointing to
another one, 'He is Success, and I am
Love.' Then he added, 'Now go in and
discuss with your husband which one of
us you want in your home.'

The woman went in and told her husband
what was said. Her husband was
overjoyed. 'How nice!!', he said. 'Since
that is the case, let us invite Wealth.
Let him come and fill our home with wealth!'

His wife disagreed. 'My dear, why don't
we invite Success?'

Their daughter was listening from the
other corner of the house. She jumped in
with her own suggestion: 'Would it not
be better to invite Love? Our home will
then be filled with love!'

'Let us heed our daughter's advice,'
said the husband to his wife.
'Go out and invite Love to be our guest.'
The woman went out and asked the 3 old
men, 'Which one of you is Love? Please
come in and be our guest.'

Love got up and started walking toward
the house. The other 2 also got up and

Love, Why are you coming in?'

The old men replied together: 'If you

Who is this man? Lim Goh Tong?
Apparently he's the founder of Genting Group, Malaysia. He was renowned for his vision and courage in transforming Genting Highlands from an unexplored hilltop into one of the world's most successful Casino resorts.

Lim developed the popular hill resort of Genting Highlands and founded the Genting Group which comprised listed companies on the Bursa Malaysia as well as the Singapore and Hong Kong stock exchanges.

He was ranked 204th on the Forbes 2007 list of billionaires worldwide and his life has always been seen as a classic “rags to riches” story.

Born in 1918 in China’s Fujian Province, Lim came to the then Malaya when he was 19.

I just knew that he passed away. I was on confinement that time.

51 weeks to go...

First week of 2008 is almost over. Basically, I have done nothing much. Prepared materials for Oracle and SAD subjects this semester. Classes are starting on week 2.
When am at home, most of my time is for Dave. He's pretty much awake all the time, so I couldn't do much. Dave nanny has her holiday on Sunday. Therefore, am her full-time nanny.... Feed him every 2 hours, change his pants when he pee. Luckily, he has his time every morning to poo.

New Year... New Resolution...???

Happy New Year everyone...!!!
First time connecting to the Internet today in year 2008... Well, work was off from 20 Dec till yesterday, thus am off from the virtual world also. ^_^
Lots of events happened in year 2007. It supposed to be a great year, but things are just too fast. I'm pretty much still adapting to it...
Starts from Jan 11, was our wedding day. Went to Japan & HK for honeymoon during CNY. At home, started to realize that am conceived Dave. Didn't expect it to be that fast. Then, Dave joined us at Oct 19. It's great to have Dave around. However, I guess I am not that ready yet. It's just like, I don't have much time for myself. Still, adapting to it very well. :)
New Resolution...??? Well, I don't have it yet. As I mentioned before, don't have much time for myself. New year's eve, just stayed at home. It's pretty hard to bring Dave out at night, since he's still very young.
Wish to have better year this year... Good luck everyone...!!!
